Calling all 'expats' from Little Plumstead! - in fact, we are calling everyone who would like to play their part in supporting the development and maintenance of this beautiful, old church - you do not need a residential qualification or family tie to be a "Friend"

 We are pleased to announce the safe delivery of "The Friends", kicking and screaming on Saturday, 23rd April 2011.   With an audience of about 30 at the open meeting, the Constitution was adopted and signed.   Twenty-nine members were registered, the Trustees were elected and officers were appointed.

 Our local papers - the Eastern Daily Press and the Eastern Evening News have given us excellent coverage and we are very grateful.   That was then - two weeks on and we now have 52 members.   With annual membership fees set at just £5.00, many members made donations on top of their fees, plus some generous donations from well-wishers not wanting to enrol at that time but registering their support all the same, we have now raised over £2100.00 

 Brilliant - but we would love to have more "Friends".   Why not join us?   It is very easy - go to 'downloads' for the application form and return it with your remittance to The Treasurer, "Friends of Little Plumstead Church", 30 Salhouse Road, Little Plumstead, Norwich, NR13 5JJ, UK.  

It is expected shortly we will be able to handle payment of annual membership fees and donations by Standing Order - keep an eye on this webpage for the announcement that the appropriate downloadable page is available.

Thank you so much to all who have registered as "Friends" or made donations but we still have a long way to go and much to do.   If you know of a friend or relative who would like to join us, get them to fill in a form or make contact with me (all my contact details or on the inside cover of each edition of "Church and Parish" which you can also find on this web site.
